Tim's Birthday
Today was Tim's birthday. After the last couple of crazy weeks, and leading up to a couple more crazy weeks, Tim decided that it would be better if we just celebrated as a family. So we enjoyed a quiet (ha ha) dinner. We went all out with lasagna...which it's really hard to come by all the ingredients. And then we had desert with a couple of close friends. Peanut butter chocolate topped cheesecake. Tim wanted a Reese's cheesecake so I did the best I could. Anyway here are a few pictures of our meal and a few pictures of Calvin.

Elijah's 6th Birthday
I can't believe he's 6. It seems like he should still be a little boy, but he is growing up now so fast. He wanted a Star Wars party and Darth Vadar cake...what does he think I am??? So here are just a few pictures from the party.

The birthday girl
For Isabella's 7th birthday we decided to wait to have the party since Tim was not going to be home. But I decided it would be the perfect day to take them to Silver Dollar City since my Dad had some free passes and had been wanting to go with us. The kids had a great time. Bella was so brave and rode the barn swing (which is pretty intense), thunderation, and then powder keg (which leaves me a little weak-kneed!). Elijah rode thunderation 3 times...and has been asking to go back so he can ride again. And Lydia shocked us all. She had not been able to ride any of the rides until we got to Fire in the Hole (which really she only measured tall enough because her hair was sticking up!). We got in line and Dad and I started talking about whether or not it would scare her. We decided that it was too much so I took her out of line. By the time I reached the end of line to leave, she realized what we were doing and started crying the most broken hearted cry I've ever heard! So I decided I would take her in line and talk it up as the scariest ride in the world and thought she would back out at the last minute...she did not. In fact, she rode it and did great. She keeps saying, I want to go Fire in the Hole again, again. Anyway, that even Grandma bought a tiny cake for the kids to share. Enjoy!

Pumpkin carving
Fall has finally arrived! Lovely cool temperatures have moved in it looks like to stay. The leaves are falling off the trees, which is something new for our kids. They are obsessed with picking up the leaves off the ground. We decided to carve a pumpkin (although I use the "we" royally, I was the only one with the knife) Isabella took most of these pictures.

In other news, Ellie's picture will not be taken for at least a few more days due to a close encounter she had an end table! We don't know for sure if she broke her nose, but most of the swelling has gone down and at least she doesn't look like Owen Wilson.
And Tim entered a new decade! Happy Birthday, Baby! I will be re-making your birthday breakfast with REAL Jimmy Dean's!

Birthday Cakes
Well, the weeks are slowly ticking by. I don't have much to say, but we are celebrating the fact that I have only 12 weeks left (only 8 and a couple of days here) until the baby's here!!! But anyway, as we have just had Elijah's birthday cake, I thought I would go ahead and post pictures of all the birthday cakes from the year (since I forgot to do that).
Batman...
Princesses...
And butterflies!
